Household Beetle Control in the Central Valley

Serving Stanislaus, San Joaquin & Merced counties since 2011.

Household Beetles
Covered in your regular service

How to spot them

Beetles cover a lot of ground: small brown beetles in the flour or pet food (pantry beetles), dark fast ones wandering in from the yard (ground beetles), or little round ones on windowsills (carpet beetles, whose larvae chew natural fibers).

Why they show up in the Central Valley

The Valley's agriculture means beetles are always abundant outdoors, and porch lights pull the wanderers in. Pantry species usually arrive inside packaged goods and multiply quietly in the back of the cupboard.

What you can do right now

For pantry beetles, toss infested packages and store flour, rice, and pet food in sealed containers. For wanderers, tighten door sweeps and switch to yellow bug bulbs. Vacuum windowsills and closet floors to break the carpet beetle cycle.

How Cornerstone handles it

Standard service handles the common household beetles that wander in, and your technician can identify which beetle you have and target it — identification is half the fix with this group.
