How much does pest control cost?
We use honest flat-rate pricing with no setup fees — the price depends on your home and the plan you choose (bi-monthly, summer-monthly, monthly, or one-time). Quotes are free and take a couple of minutes: call 209-576-7378 or request one online. Homes on parcels over 10,000 sq ft get a quick free inspection for an exact quote.
Is the treatment safe for kids and pets?
Our technicians apply products according to their EPA labels and will walk you through any precautions for your visit — typically keeping kids and pets off treated exterior areas until dry. Tell your technician about pets, koi ponds, gardens, or sensitivities and they'll adjust the treatment accordingly. (One longtime customer asks us not to spray near the lizards on her back fence — done.)
Do I need to leave my house during treatment?
For regular exterior service, no — most visits happen without you needing to do anything at all. If an interior treatment is planned, your technician will let you know about any short re-entry times in advance.
What pests are covered in regular service?
Every visit covers ants, spiders, cockroaches, earwigs, silverfish, crickets, centipedes, millipedes, beetles, exterior fleas, ticks, and nesting wasps. Rodents and bees are available as add-ons. We don't treat termites or mosquitoes — we'll point you to the right specialist instead.
What if pests come back between visits?
We come back and re-treat, free. That's the guarantee on every recurring plan: if covered pests return between scheduled visits, the return trip costs you nothing.
How often should I get service?
Bi-monthly (every other month) is our most chosen plan and keeps most Central Valley homes protected year-round. Summer-monthly adds monthly visits April through September when pests are most active. Monthly is best for heavy pest pressure or when you never want to see a pest. Compare the plans ›
Do you treat rodents or bees?
Yes — both are available as add-ons to your regular service. Mice and rats get trapping and control matched to your property; bees get a careful, pollinator-friendly assessment before any action is taken. Just mention it when you call.
Do you treat termites or mosquitoes?
No — and we'd rather tell you that plainly than sell you something that won't work. Termite control is a separately licensed trade, so we refer you to a reputable termite company. Mosquitoes are best handled by eliminating standing water, plus your local mosquito abatement district — which treats breeding sources free of charge.
What areas do you serve?
We run regular routes across Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced counties — 33 cities including Modesto (our home office), Turlock, Stockton, Merced, and more. See the full list ›
How soon can you come out?
We run daily routes across the Valley, so scheduling is usually quick — call 209-576-7378 and we'll get you the soonest available slot. For urgent problems, tell us; we do our best to prioritize.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Cornerstone Pest Management has served the Central Valley since 2011 and is licensed by the State of California: PR 6294, OPR 14973, DPR 38708, QAL 126546.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
One-time Single Service is available with no commitment at all. For recurring plans, call the office and we'll walk you through the options — no pressure, and the first step is always a free quote.
